The computer, however, had individual performance ratings ranging from 800 - 1350, with an average of 1053. It only matched or exceeded 1300 in 2 of the 17 games. How is it that a computer "rated" for 1300 only plays at an average rating of 1053?Personally, I've noticed that game review ratings tend to be closer to chess.com ratings than OTB ratings, because it seems that the ratings are definitely inflated by quite a bit. ... Seems like videos are floating around of people playing NBA 2K26 on Switch 2 which launches in a few hours. I'm not super technical on this kind of stuff, but can somewhere here tell what the frame rate of the game turned out to be? 30 fps? 40? 60?
From what I'm seeing in that off-screen footage, both the basketball game and city exploration have unstable framerates. From the TINY samples I looked at, the basketball game was running around 60fps with occasional dropped frames. In contrast, the city was running around 30fps with occasionally faster frames.Seema to be 30fps across the board, but the full next gen experience and overall quite good. I dislike their micropayments and insane file sizes more than that, but usually they are selling these games for 5$ after six month...I just wanna have some fun with the 90s Bulls playing other teams, lol, and this lets me do that. If it's able to go above 30 fps then I have some hope that the 2K folks will give some performance patches to get it to run even better. I honestly haven't noticed any big dips in actual gameplay.Click to expand... Pretty disappointing if true after WWE 2k25 was able to hit 60 fps. Even a bump up to fixed 40 fps makes a huge difference in feel for basketball games.
