99% ARAM win rate over 100 games
Main Post:
I lost an ARAM game the other day pretty handily, so I had a look at the enemies OP.GG. It turned out they were a pre made 5 team, consisting visibly of at least two challengers and a grandmaster, and had a pretty ridiculous win rate in ARAMs.
I hadn't come across anything like this before, so just wanted to share really - it was pretty outrageous to me! Trust me, if you go back further this win rate continues (these 100 games were played over the past 9 days)
ARAMsTop Comment: Wow. I checked back even further to 400 games That five stack is 363-35 (+2 remakes) How in the world are the queue times not 10+ minutes for them even with that rotating 5th account

Man, Intel in 2024 sure is something huh.
AMD is simply better when it comes to desktop and server with their ryzen and epyc CPU’s.
Meanwhile qualcomm is predicted to dominate the laptop market with their snapdragon x elite CPU’s.
All intel has to offer is unstable and overpriced crap that melts after 5 seconds of use.
I remember when AMD CPU’s used to get meme’d on for running hot. How the turntables

Custom resolution & refresh rate
Main Post:
I have got a problem with setting a custom resolution with a fixed refresh rate.
Adrenaline - settings - display - custom resolution : i have set a custom resolution of 1728x1080 @ 144hz, but once i start a game my refresh rate changes to 120hz forcefully (1728x1080), is there any chance to set the refresh rate forcefully to 144 at a resolution of 1728x1080 ? i can see the change of refresh rate on my monitor weirdly it happens in all games and all kind of resolutions under 1920x1080. never had a problem with changing refresh rates on lower resolution with my old Nvidia card.
my specs:
5600x 3600mhz 16gb ram 6700xt
Monitor: 24GL600F LG @ 144 hz with DisplayPort cable 2.1
hope you can help me couldn't find a fix for this anywhere
EDIT: FIX FOUND For any users having the same issue, have found a solution. After days of finding a solution, it was just a simple tick away from the display options. If you have set a custom resolution under Settings - Display - custom resolution, set GPU Scaling to Enabled. This will stop changing your refresh rate to a lower value.

Given this line-up, how would you rate it? Are there games you wished didn't come out or should have come out?
Y'knw, for detractors saying how "the Switch is doomed" and how the Switch "has no games", there was a dozen of games only for the console, and indies were aplenty :)

FFVII Crisis Core will also release this week and supposed to be a really good Switch port.
Overall, I have felt the year was solid. Kirby and the Forgotten Land was fantastic and I have gotten many good hours out of that both with myself and with my daughter. Both Splatoon 3 and Bayonetta 3 were fantastic as well. The other exclusives were really solid, even if I didn't play them all.
Do you enable the "Variable Refresh" option in the Windows settings on top of G-Sync?
Main Post:
It is in the Graphics Settings. I've heard it only applies to Windows games, but I'm worried it might interfere with my Nvidia settings.
Do you enable it?
Top Comment: This option is usually automatically activated once you activate G-sync in Nvidia Control panel. It's not only for "windows games". If you disable this, g-sync will not work correctly in games. You don't need to do anything here normally. In order to make sure that G-sync works, you just need to enable g-sync/freesync in monitor's settings and Nvidia Control panel of course( I do it for windowed and fullscreen apps) and if your monitor is not g-sync certified, also check "enable settings for selected display model". Then, in 3d settings, enable v-sync too(set it to ON), and disable it in games(unless the game has a maximum of 60 fps, I noticed screen tearing in these cases). Also, you should limit fps under the maximum refresh rate of your monitor, for example for 165Hz, set it to 163 or 162. later edit: it also forces g-sync/freesync on games that don't normally support it, it's in the description, but those games are normally old games, or games that have a limit of 60 fps. In those cases, as I already mentioned, enable v-sync in the game too.
